C215 confusion zone

C215, a Parisian street artist born in 1973 under the name of Christian Guémy, approaches painting from an eminently humanist angle. His portraits on the walls of Paris or suburban cities show men and women, unknown or famous. After having realized in situ the portraits of the victims of January 7, 2015, he has just flooded the capital with the stencil image of a homeless man.
There were the portraits of the victims of January 2015, Cabu, Charb, but also the policeman killed on Richard Lenoir Boulevard. On the walls, where the dramas took place. For a long time, C215 has been expressing itself on the walls of Paris and its suburbs. Portraits of people, it could be oneself, daily images of human beings of his century and his city.

The street. It is there, that more and more major artists are born. One day their works leave it to go to galleries, then museums and large collections. C215 is there. But he does not abandon the street and his inspiration. He does not let go of his humanity.
