The first part of the sale dates from November 2021, having reached the sum of 80 million euros.

The works sold for double or even triple their estimate, for 48 million euros.

The Lalanne collection reached 129 million, going down in history as one of the wildest auctions ever. It is the most expensive collection since 2009 dispersed in France.

All lots were sold.

The 2002 Planted Donkey sold for 3.2 million and Pauline's Large Mouflon for 3 million.

Claude's sculptures sold for lower prices, but were equally exorbitant. Collectors snapped up his bench S'asseoir en Forêt for 1.4 million euros, and Les Grands Sphinx for over a million.

This sale sent Lalanne's price soaring.
