Roger PICAULT (XXᵉ century) - Lot 160
Roger PICAULT (XXᵉ century) Polychrome glazed earthenware pitcher Mark: RP Height : 18,7 cm Note: Polychrome enameled earthenware pitcher by Roger Picault, an emblematic figure of Vallauris in the 1950s-1970s. His work is characterized by generous shapes, stylized decorations and vivid glazes, often with his signature "RP" on the reverse. This pitcher perfectly illustrates his style: a colorful palette, dynamic decoration and solid craftsmanship, typical of the post-war Vallauris ceramic revival.
