Willy RONIS (2010-2009) - Lot 162
Willy RONIS (2010-2009) Le chat surpris Gordes 1951 Silver print, 1985 Signed lower right Size including margins : 40 x 30 cm Note: This emblematic image testifies to Willy Ronis' sensitivity to furtive, poetic moments in reality. In this dense plant landscape, the unexpected presence of the cat creates a focal point full of grace and mystery. The composition, playing on the light contrasts filtered through the foliage, reveals the photographer's keen eye for discreet everyday scenes, transformed here into a veritable natural theater. A print that perfectly illustrates the intimate, narrative dimension of his work.
