Set of two panels - Lot 40

Set of two panels The Vision Oil on canvas pasted on wood panel 106 x 76 cm Canvas partially detached on one panel Note: This two-panel set, entitled La Vision, presents a lyrical abstract composition combining broad gestures, scratched textures and irregular thicknesses of material. Shapes, on the border between the figurative and the dreamlike, seem to emerge then dissolve in a continuous movement, reinforced by a palette dominated by muted pinks, deep greens and earthy browns. The treatment of the surface, deliberately uneven, plays an essential role: rubbing, impasto and scraped areas create a vibrant visual rhythm, evoking a kind of inner landscape, shifting and unstable. The work is dense and expressive, in a gestural vein where intuition and matter take precedence, and where the narrative remains open to the viewer's interpretation.
