Flowers
Set of two gouaches on paper
One dated 1983
65 x 50 cm
Note: These two floral compositions by L. Cordes illustrate the painter's sensitivity to color and material, each exploring a different atmosphere: the first, denser and more structured, offers a soft, nuanced palette, while the second is distinguished by its lightness and the brilliance of its luminous tones. Despite the slight alterations caused by use, the whole remains harmonious and testifies to the artist's skill in the expressive interpretation of the floral motif.
