Necklace featuring fifty red fossil coral pearls of various shapes and sizes, cascaded. The beads, left deliberately irregular and uncalibrated, feature an antique patina, natural cavities, eroded areas and shades of orange-red to deep red, characteristic of handcrafted antique coral. Nepal circa 1900 Gross weight: 254 g. Condition: old, used condition; wear, inclusions, irregularities and micro-manicures inherent to the fossilized nature of the material and its age; the whole remains solid and coherent. Note: Traditional mounting by threading, favoring the effect of mass and visual hierarchy in the center of the necklace.
