Jean COCTEAU (1889-1963) (after) - Lot 54
Jean COCTEAU (1889-1963) (after) Le testament d'Orphée Color lithograph Titled and signed in the plate 45 x 36 cm Note: This color lithograph after Jean Cocteau finely reproduces the artist's characteristic graphic universe, in which supple line, clean lines and visual poetry take center stage. Inspired by Le Testament d'Orphée, it illustrates Cocteau's mythological and theatrical imagination, blending symbolism and modernity. Although signed and titled in the plate - in keeping with the "éditions d'après" - the work retains all the decorative appeal and expressive power of the creations associated with the master.
