Walter CARONE (1920 - 1982) - Lot 47
Walter CARONE (1920 - 1982) Brigitte Fossey, 1979 RC silver press print 20 x 30 cm Note: Press photograph by Walter Carone, a photographer renowned for his portraits of artistic and cultural personalities. This image shows Brigitte Fossey at the end of the 1970s, an active period in her film and television career. RC (resin-coated) prints, characteristic of press photography from the 1970s onwards, were favored for their speed of production and distribution in media circuits. Today, this type of print is an archive document, sought after for its iconographic interest and its testimony to French cultural life.
