Georges BARTOLI (1957) - Lot 239
Georges BARTOLI (1957)
Tibidabo Amusement Park, Barcelona, October 1991
Silver print
On back, signed, dated, titled, located and numbered 1/30
Size including margins: 30.5 x 40 cm
Note: In this suspended scene in Tibidabo Park, Georges Bartoli captures the fragile moment when carefreeness flirts with vertigo. The silhouettes against the light, carried by the circular movement of the swings, draw a graphic and aerial choreography. With his sense of framing and rhythm, the photographer transforms a moment of leisure into an image that is at once playful, melancholy and profoundly human.
