THE WAX FIGURE - Lot 221
THE WAX FIGURE Mystery (unidentified), 1970s. Photograph, vintage color print, annotated on a white border, blank reverse. 23.8 x 18 cm, including white borders. Signs of handling, particularly at the tips of the corners. Note: Strange and fascinating, this wax mannequin from the 1970s blurs the line between human representation and a display object. Its mysterious identity and unique aesthetic lend this photograph an almost surreal dimension.
