THE THREE-PENNY OPERA - DIE DREIGROSCHENOPER - Lot 315
THE THREE-PENNY OPERA - DIE DREIGROSCHENOPER Film by Georg W. Pabst, based on the work by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, 1931. 4 photos, vintage silver gelatin prints on card stock (large format), unmarked on the back. 27.5 x 37.5 cm each. A few thumbtack holes in the corners and some dust on the prints. Note: A major work by Georg Wilhelm Pabst, *The Threepenny Opera* brings the biting and subversive world of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill to the screen. These four large vintage prints from 1931 constitute a valuable visual record of this classic of interwar German cinema.
