Including 6 lithographed prints on cardboard by photographer Uchida Kuichi and 2 prints on Toocoku cardboard. Some bear handwritten inscriptions: “Ko Tsune,” “Nami Kitchi,” “Oye Shiatiho,” “Imamourasaki,” and others. Recognized during his lifetime as a great photographer, Uchida Kuichi was the only person granted permission to photograph Emperor Meiji—a supreme honor, as the emperor was considered a god and almost never appeared in public.
