Picasso and wine

Representations of cafés and drinkers, variations on glass and the bottle during the Cubist period, striking and sometimes dramatic evocations, steeped in Catholicism or Greco-Roman mythology... the exhibition pays tribute to the artist's abundant production and the diversity of the media he used. Two original sequences in the heart of the exhibition also highlight Picasso's fruitful links with poets (Guillaume Apollinaire or Paul Eluard for example) and his work as a ceramist. Finally, the exhibition invites Picasso's contemporaries such as Juan Gris or Georges Braque and the recent rereadings of Erró, Chéri Samba and RH.

In order to prepare your visit in the best conditions, we recommend you to book your day and time of visit.

A guided tour is also offered throughout the exhibition, on weekends and holidays at 4pm, as well as during the Easter vacations on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 4pm, Saturday at 11am and Sunday at 2:30pm. During this guided tour in French, a mediator shares with you the testimony that Picasso offers about his time through his work.
