WHO WAS THAT LADY? - Lot 75
WHO WAS THAT LADY? The Coogle Sisters (Las Vegas showgirls, dressed by Jean Louis), during the filming of George Sidney's movie "Who Was That Lady?", 1959. Photo, vintage silver gelatin print, captioned (label), stamped (date), and annotated on the back. 23 x 18 cm, including white borders. Trace of a paperclip (mostly visible only when held up to the light) and a slightly chipped corner. Note: Las Vegas showgirls, the Coogle Sisters appear here in costumes designed by Jean Louis, the famous Hollywood fashion designer. Taken during the filming of *Who Was That Lady?*, this portrait brilliantly blends the worlds of showgirls, cinema, and fashion from the late 1950s.
